RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL INSTALLATIONS
With years of experience in inspecting, testing and servicing dry risers across all industry sectors, we have acquired a wealth of knowledge in a wide variety of dry riser systems. As such, we can complete on-the-spot repairs quickly and reliably.
All of our work complies with the British Standards BS9990:2015 for dry riser testing.
WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT DRY RISER TESTING?
-
Annual dry riser testing is a requirement by law
-
We will provide a certificate of compliance once the system has been tested and found to be compliant with the required standard
-
A visual inspection is recommended every six months (this will enable us to spot potential issues early and keep the system in the best possible condition)
-
We provide on-the spot maintenance and repair (unless we need to send off for extra parts, which we will do as promptly as possible)
-
We provide same-day, dry-riser-repair callouts
WHAT DOES TESTING AND SERVICING INVOLVE?
-
We check the system for leaks by carrying out an air pressure test followed by a wet pressure test (filling the system with water to a pressure of 12 bar (175psi) for up to 15 mins
-
Testing of valves, washers, seals, inlet valves and outlet valves
-
Inspection of dry riser cabinets and signage
-
Draining and securing of the system once the test is complete
