This week, we’ve been conducting the bi-annual dry riser maintenance for one of our newest clients at The Dalian Building in Glasgow.
Located at Charing Cross in the heart of Glasgow, this iconic building was previously home to the headquarters of Strathclyde Regional Council and NHS Glasgow. In 2020, it underwent a transformation with plans approved to convert it into 92 private rental apartments. These range from studios to three-bedroom units and are complemented by a range of communal spaces, including a fitness suite, lounge, co-working area, garden terrace, private dining spaces, and car parks.
The building is named after the Chinese city of Dalian, Glasgow’s twin city since 1987. Its design preserves the original Georgian street frontage along North Street, while the renovation restored the famous pagoda tower and introduced the Dalian Rose—a modern interpretation of the China Rose—atop the structure.
Please get in touch if we can assist you with your Dry Riser Maintenance Requirements.
